Does Turtao upload my photo?

No. Your browser opens, previews, crops, and exports the image on your device. The photo is never sent to Turtao.

What size should a profile picture be?

512 × 512 is a strong default for most social networks. You can also export 256 × 256 or 1024 × 1024.

Can I make a circular profile picture?

Yes. Choose Circle for a transparent PNG outside the crop. You can also export a rounded square or square version.
